Fight to Play is a global pathway for female football talent.
We search for exceptional players in places conventional scouting rarely reaches and connect the players we find with clubs, academies and football professionals who can assess, develop and take them further.

Scouting goes where the game is already organised — the academies, the leagues, the tournaments. A player born outside all that can be the best in her country and never be seen by anyone who matters.
So that is where we go.

The first of twenty-two. Found in Campo Grande, playing on a floodlit pitch a long way from anyone who was looking. Her story is where Fight to Play begins.

Twenty-two players. Ten countries. One stadium. Two found so far. Every place below is still empty, and will stay that way until someone is genuinely found.

We look where conventional scouting rarely reaches.

Selected players enter a pathway connecting them with football, education and professional opportunities.

We film what happens — the players, their families, their communities and the journey.
The search moves across continents by road, boat and mountain pass. The countries reveal themselves along the way, because the story travels through them.
Ten in total. Two filmed so far. The rest are chosen for one reason only: somebody there is good enough, and nobody has seen her.

Campo Grande. Where the first player was found.

Filmed. The second search of the series.

Still to come. Announced as each search begins.

Long roads, small vehicles, local drivers who know where to look. The countries reveal themselves along the way, because the story travels through them.
Sometimes we drive six hours and find nobody.
A returning series that follows each player from the moment she is found to the moment she walks out at the Cup. Her family, her community, and everything it takes to get her there.
The stories begin long before the first whistle, and continue long after the final.

Every player we discover enters the Fight to Play pathway — creating opportunities both on and beyond the pitch.
In partnership with the Global Institute of Sport, Fight to Play is developing a dedicated sponsorship course for our players.
The film ends. Her career doesn't.
